Hi!  I’m Mrs. Allen and I am so happy to be part of the American River Collegiate Academy Family!

I come from a family of teachers.  I am one of eight children, and five of us are in education.  My dad is a Kindergarten teacher and has always inspired me to teach.  I have previously taught for SCUSD for nine years, and for a private school in Rocklin for two years before that.  I have taught 7th/8th, 3rd/4th, 2nd, 1st and now Kindergarten.

 

I have been married for almost 20 years, and live with my husband and four children in Rocklin.  I have a 18 year old daughter who just graduated high school this year, a 13 year old daughter entering ninth grade, a nine year old son entering fifth, and my youngest daughter will be entering first grade.

 

I love hanging out with my family and friends, discovering new food recipes, and I love road trips to Disneyland!

 

I look forward to sharing another amazing year with all of the students, parents, and staff of this school community.
