Hi, I’m Jennipher Baker! I am excited to be returning to American River Collegiate Academy as the Educational Support Specialist for the 2022-23 school year! I look forward to working with students across grade levels to support and extend their learning!

 

This will be my 15th year teaching at Rocklin Academy Family of Schools and my 28th year as an educator, many of those years as a Kindergarten through 2nd Grade teacher. Working with primary grade students is so rewarding, I get the pleasure of instilling a love of learning and helping to build a strong foundation for future academic success! I received my BS degree in Social Science and my Teaching Credential from San Jose State University along with post graduate work in Education at Santa Clara and San Diego State University.

 

My husband and I are Bay Area transplants, but we have lived in Rocklin now for nearly17 years. We have three children, our youngest of whom will be a Junior at Whitney High School this year…how time flies! I am also blessed with 3 beautiful grandchildren (Scarlett, Molly and James) who keep us busy and entertained! Outside of spending time with family and friends, I enjoy reading, attending concerts, and getting outdoors to bike and paddleboard!

 

I look forward to seeing new and returning students in the Fall, I know that together as a team we will make this a fabulous year in your child’s education! Welcome to American River…GO OTTERS!
