Ms. McBride's Teacher Bio

I am incredibly thrilled to continue being a part of the teaching team at American River Collegiate Academy for another year, where I will be teaching 2nd Grade! Teaching has become my ultimate passion, bringing immense joy into my life. My primary aim as an educator is to ensure that all my students feel valued and well-prepared for their academic journey.

After completing my Bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development at Sacramento State University, I pursued my Multi-Subject Credential at Cal State Teach. During my time as a student teacher with the Rocklin Academy Family of Schools, I instantly fell in love with teaching. When the opportunity to teach at American River Collegiate Academy arose, I knew I had found the perfect place for me.

I currently live in Fair Oaks with my Fiancé and our three beloved pets, we share a passion for travel and are eagerly anticipating our upcoming wedding. Aside from family time, I also enjoy gardening, cooking, and taking walks with my corgi
