Mrs. Sunzeri's Teacher Bio

I am incredibly thrilled to continue being a part of the teaching team at American River Collegiate Academy for another year, where I will be teaching 2nd grade! Teaching has become my ultimate passion, bringing immense joy into my life. My primary aim as an educator is to ensure that all my students feel valued and recognized for their hard work.

After completing my Bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development at Sacramento State University, I pursued my Multi-Subject Credential at Cal State Teach. After receiving my credential, I started teaching with Rocklin Academy Family of Schools. I have been teaching 2nd grade for three years now, and I absolutely love it!

I currently live in Orangevale with my husband and our three beloved pets. We share a passion for travel and helping our community. Aside from family time, I also enjoy gardening, cooking, and taking walks with my corgi!

I am excited about the new school year ahead at American River Collegiate Academy and all the wonderful experiences it will bring. I look forward to getting to know all of our amazing students and families next year.
